this book follows harry flynn, a war reporter who is officially living rent-free in my head. he gets a totally random job putting together a poetry anthology for the 1951 festival of britain. the plot is basically a cozy little noir with a whole cast of british eccentrics. kate atkinson always delivers a very specific vibe and i am here for it.
