u2 played their old school on their 50th anniversary and it actually ruled

The Rundown

u2 just dropped a new album called carnaval de luz and immediately did a tiny show at the high school in dublin where they formed. it is a cute low-key album rollout. they are definitely still trying to be cool but this is a very based move. the setlist is probably 80 percent classics but i am not mad about it.
