pixar's monster inc is 25 and studios apparently had another script for a sequel but it never happened. writers hilgenberg and muir talked about the lost story, which apparently had a different vibe. sounds like a classic case of ‘too many cooks’ in the writers' room. guess we'll just have to imagine what could've been.
